Lisa is an associate in the litigation group at Cox & Palmer’s Halifax office. She maintains a diverse litigation practice, with a focus on commercial disputes and insured claims.

Lisa assists on and manages a variety of matters, including those in our complex commercial litigation practice. Her experience includes contractual disputes, debt recovery claims, expropriation, real property disputes, and matters involving property damage and personal injury. Lisa has worked with financial institutions, government bodies and a broad range of commercial enterprises. She has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia.

Beyond her work at Cox & Palmer, Lisa is an active member of the Advocates’ Society (TAS). She is one of the Atlantic region’s representatives on TAS’s national Young Advocates’ Standing Committee (YASC), and sits on TAS’s Atlantic Regional Advisory Committee

Lisa was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2018, and completed her law degree at Dalhousie University. During her time in law school, Lisa was the winner of the Leonard A. Kitz, Q.C. Prize for her participation in the Smith Shield Moot. She was also the Best Overall Advocate at the national Sopinka Cup held annually in Ottawa. Lisa now applies her determination and passion for advocacy to developing her litigation practice.
